The Reality Store ℠ is a day of simulation where 8th graders become 28 years old
and have to live on a paycheck.
The Reality Store ℠ is an effort to help area 8th graders:
· Learn the real world
· Learn about costs and various lifestyles
· Understand the economic differences between people
· Experience “real world” mathematical problem-skills
The Reality Store ℠ encourages students to:
· Learn budgeting skills
· Begin planning their careers early in life
*The Reality Store ℠ is a concept that originated with the
Indiana Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Clubs
