Teacher Appreciation Week!

Celebrating Teachers Who Are Shaping The Future Workforce Of Our Region!

We all know a teacher that has touched our lives in a positive and profound way in the past. Now is our opportunity to thank teachers who have helped make the world a better place! Teacher Appreciation Week is May 2 to 6 and benefits over 1,500 amazing teachers.  We would like your help showing our appreciation to the teachers in the Crown Point and Merrillville School Corporation. The chamber members will offer coupons to the teachers in a member coupon booklet that is emailed to all the teachers.  Then we drop off treats to teacher’s lounges and goody bags to the principals.  Please help in any or all of the 3 ways listed below!

1. Teachers from the Crown Point and Merrillville School Corporations are emailed an electronic 2016 Chamber Members Coupon Booklet. This is a great way to promote your business.  If you would like to have a coupon in the booklet it's easy and free of charge!  No need for special artwork, just email Lee with what you would like your ad to say and she'll create your coupon. Click here to view the 2015 coupon booklet for ad ideas. Please get your coupon information to Lee at lee@crossroadschamber.org on or before Thursday, April 18. 
2. Tuesday, May 3 ~ The Education Division of Crossroads Regional Chamber of Commerce will deliver gift bags to the principals and treats to the teacher’s lounges.  Please donate any type of office supply items in the count of 100. You can drop off principal goody bag items to the chamber office on or before Wednesday, April 27.
3. Please donate trays, boxes or bags of treats to the chamber office on Monday, May 2.
