Dorsett is a master's level clinical mental health and clinical addictions counselor specializing in military mental health through Star Behavioral Health Providers. As a two-time student at Indiana Wesleyan University, Dorsett is pursuing her Doctor of Business Administration certification specializing in healthcare administration. Her overarching goal is to work toward more effective reintegration practices for veterans after their military service and establishing individually tailored treatment plans to connect individuals with mental health and addiction services. Due to partnerships established through IWU, Dorsett has been blessed to become active within the DAV and VFW organizations. She has two young children, Averly and Marcus, and a family dog, Rambo. Additionally, Dorsett promoted her “More Than Just an Army Wife” platform on a national spectrum while acting as Mrs. Indiana America 2019.
