Department: Fiscal Position Title: Accounting Director
Number of Positions Available: (1) Position (Full-time)
Hours: Must be available Monday – Friday
Description of Position: Responsible for the day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, analyzing data, preparing financial statements and reports, and providing support to the team. It is critical to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including GAAP and supervision of Fiscal staff.
Education/Certification Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
Experience Required:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and bank statements.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including GAAP.
- Development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for all banking accounts.
- Oversee cash flow management, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger operations.
